Methodology
We @ Aplomb Soft following client-oriented methodology to execute the project. Our experts define easy and transparent methodology which give clear picture of our customers project status. There are many processes we are following but from them below few of them, we tried to give flow understanding using intuitive way.
Agile Process
In the Agile model, the requirements are decomposed into many small parts that can be incrementally developed. The Agile model adopts Iterative development. Each incremental part is developed over an iteration. Each iteration is intended to be small and easily manageable and that can be completed within a couple of weeks only. At a time one iteration is planned, developed and deployed to the customers. Long-term plans are not made. The main benefit of this model is to handle change management very smoothly, as long-term Enterprise software and Custom Software development always have on the fly changes. There are couple of different SDLC models used in agile process but in each model the iterative development is common.
Sprint Process
In Agile methodology SCRUM is the most used process to manage complex products. SCRUM is the iteration of small parts and this small part called sprints which need to be deliver in short deadline. Each sprint is typically two to four weeks long. The backlog will be created by Scrum master and Product Owner. Now based on scrum team and from backlog scrum master will create the sprint for two to four weeks. Below is some graphical representation to understand more.
Key Benefits
The good process and practices provide your project velocity to right direction to achieve end solution on time and cost-effective manner.
Aplomb Soft provides opportunities to stakeholders and our team engagement before, during and after each step of project, by involving the client in every step of the project. Aplomb Soft provides high degree of collaboration between clients and the project team which really help us to truly understand the client’s vision. Implementing the DevOps or other tools continues development and deployment will increases our clients trust level and team’s ability to deliver high-quality working software.
Here at Aplomb Soft we pay special attention to the discovery phase to ensure that the final product fully meets your expectations. AplombSoft’s Business Analysts define easier ways to attain what you need, while Project Managers identify the most suitable development methodology and cooperation model, as well as assemble the most effective project team, and the tech experts work on technical feasibility and select the most efficient technologies.
Transparency enables both you and us to see at a glance, whether we are on track to meet the goals or are blocked on one or more directions, and eliminate these blockers. Our process provides a unique opportunity for clients to be involved throughput the project. This can include prioritizing features, iteration planning and review sessions, or frequent software builds containing new features.
While the team needs to stay focused on delivering an agreed-to subset of the product’s features during each iteration, there is an opportunity to constantly refine and reprioritize the overall product backlog. New or changed backlog items can be planned for the next iteration, providing the opportunity to introduce changes within a few weeks.
We have an independent QA department responsible for providing quality assurance throughout the entire Software Development Lifecycle of every project. Depending on the size of the latter, we allocate a testing team and define a QA timeframe, which allows us to optimize involvement and project costs. Though independent by virtue of their duties, our QA experts work in close cooperation with our development team
By using time-boxed, fixed schedule Sprints of 1-4 weeks, new features are delivered quickly and frequently, with a high level of predictability. This also provides the opportunity to release or beta test the software earlier than planned if there is sufficient business value. Client can more readily understand the approximate cost of each feature, which help to define priority of features to add into iterations.
Waterfall Model
Some of clients doesn’t have that much time to involve each and every step of development so in this case waterfall model is very useful to proceed with project development. Here whole project will be divided into couple of phases. BI and Project manager work with customer to create requirement specification document (SRS) to define project scope for each phase. In this model each phase required to complete before move to the next phase sequentially. Below is the graphical represent to get better understanding of waterfall model.
